Vieques, Puerto Rico is known for pristine beaches and old world Caribbean lifestyle. The name Vieques comes from a native Indian word meaning "little island". It retains strong Spanish influences from 400 years of Spanish ownership.
Snorkeling is excellent, especially at Blue Beach. The water is crystal clear and a must-see is The Bioluminescent Bay, perhaps the world's largest and brightest. The luminescence is caused by micro-organisms which glow whenever the water is disturbed, leaving a trail of neon blue.
Casa Griffin, within walking distance to the ocean, offers a stunning view of the Caribbean from its spacious wrap-around covered porch, equipped with dining table, grill, sofa and rocking chair. The house is equipped with a beautiful kitchen and comfy den and dining area. Enjoy satellite TV, A/C, 1/2 bath off the den, and a Master Suite with King bed and spacious walk-in shower Master Bath.
An additional apartment has a kitchen, den, bed and bath area that is totally separate from the Master Suite.
Available for weekly rental.
